Make Your SugarHill Soap Last Longer

Posted by Sohntise Carr on

There’s nothing worse than finding a soap you absolutely love… only to watch it disappear way too soon.

At SugarHill, we believe a good bar deserves a good run. So if you want to keep your favorite SugarHill bar around a little longer, here are a few simple tricks.

Keep It Dry Between Uses

This is probably the biggest one.

Soap and water are a beautiful combination when you’re washing. But when your bar is sitting in water between showers, it can soften and disappear much faster.

Give your bar a place where water can drain away completely. A soap dish with drainage holes, a slotted soap saver, or a raised soap tray will help keep your bar from sitting in a puddle.

Let It Breathe

After you use your soap, give it a chance to dry out.

Instead of putting it in a closed container while it’s still wet, let it air-dry between uses. Your bar will thank you.

Don’t Leave It Under Running Water

Your SugarHill bar doesn't need a shower of its own.

Keep it out of the direct stream of water when you aren't using it. A little less unnecessary water exposure can make a big difference in how long your bar lasts.

Use What You Need

A little lather goes a long way.

Work the bar between your hands or with your favorite washcloth, sponge, or loofah, and enjoy the fragrance and lather without overworking the bar.

Give Your Bar Some Personal Space

If you have several SugarHill scents in rotation—and honestly, we understand—try not to pile wet bars together.

Let each bar dry between uses. Your bathroom can have options without turning your soap dish into a fragrance convention.

And One More Thing…

Take your time.

SugarHill soap is meant to make an ordinary part of your day feel a little more special. So enjoy the fragrance. Enjoy the lather. Enjoy the moment.

Then put your bar somewhere it can dry out and get ready for the next round.

Pick your scent. Grab your bar. Get clean.

Because at SugarHill, even getting clean should be a vibe.

Welcome to SugarHill — it’s so lovely.
